Oak Ridge Schools is pleased to announce that Mr. Matthew Bradburn will assume the position of Executive Director of Human Resources effective December 3, 2018. He will replace Dr. Chris Lee who is retiring after a long career with Oak Ridge Schools.
Mr. Bradburn is currently employed as the Deputy Director of Civil Service for the City of Knoxville and brings 15 years of Human Resources experience to the Oak Ridge Schools. Mr. Bradburn has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and an additional MBA in Human Resources Management from Walden University. He is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and as a Senior Certified Professional for the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP).
Mr. Bradburn has been married to his wife Molly for 13 years, who is a teacher at Pittman Center Elementary, and they have a six-year old daughter, Ella Grace. He enjoys hiking, landscaping, and spending time working in the community.
