On Thursday, January 16, Robertsville Middle School held its annual National Geographic GeoBee. Nine students qualified to participate in the final round. 7th grader Jayden Davis won the competition as he missed only one question and received a perfect score during the championship round. 5th grader Liam Brannon placed second, and 7th grader Leo Ehlers was third.
On Wednesday, January 22, Jefferson Middle School held its annual National Geographic GeoBee. 5th grader Nathan Kruzic won the competition while 7th graders William Shen and Lily Shelton placed second and third.
Jayden and Nathan will now attempt to qualify for the state competition in March.
