Market-To-Go is a CARES act funded COVID relief project that was popular as a safety measure at the Winter Farmers’ Market. Because participants were satisfied with the project, it will continue into the summer during the main season. We hope that families will discover that MTG is a convenient way to get healthy, local food. There is no profit. We employ two Oak Ridge High School students to help us organize and distribute orders. If we have community support, we may be able to continue the project indefinitely and increase access to healthy, local food options and continue to employ high school teenagers who get to learn how the business operates.
