Student
Do I have to have a guardian listed in Skyward with me? Yes.
Do I need to bring my device every day? Yes, every day, fully charged for the day.
Can I put stickers on my new laptop for identification? No. You will be provided with a name badge for device identification.
Do I need to bring the laptop in the case provided? Yes, always.
Parent/guardian
What if I donāt have a photo ID? Get one. You must have a photo ID to get your student’s device.
Do I need to have my student with me? Yes.

I can’t make it to the night I am assigned. Can I come to the other night? Yes.
What about 11th and 12th graders? Will they get devices on these nights? Not yet, but the Access Oak Ridge planning team is working on a plan to go school-wide in the near future.
We have 9th and 10th grader(s) enrolled in Secret City Academy. Do we also come on this night? Yes, please come and fill out paperwork–the device will be delivered to the school.
How long will this take? Approximately 45 minutes.
Is there a cost for picking up the device? No.
If I have a freshman and a sophomore, do I have to come both nights? No. Select one night and do paperwork and pickup on the same night for both students.
Should the whole family come? No, just you and the student being issued the device.
If I still owe a fee from last year, can I still come? Yes, please come to fill out the paperwork, but you will be a day user until the fees are cleared.
Is there a make-up date set? No, not at this time. For scheduling purposes with the Wildcat Arena, we want to ensure full participation on the two designated nights. We will re-evaluate after that time.
