As I mentioned earlier, there was a possibility that the governor would extend the closure of schools in Tennessee. Just recently, we received word that Governor Lee has recommended school districts remain closed through April 24. We obviously will comply with this mandated closure.

3rd Grade Wax Museum

Mrs. Scudder’s 3rd grade class presented an African American wax museum on Friday, February 28th. Each of the students selected an African American from history. They were responsible for researching that person, preparing posters, and dressing up as that person.

120th Day 2020

Our first graders recently celebrated our 120th day of school. One of our standards for learning is counting and writing numbers to 120, so it only seems fitting that we celebrate when we reach 120 days of school. Our students participated in several activities focused on the number 120.
