Forces and Motion Marshmallow Shooters

Woodland’s 2nd graders in Mrs. Spangler’s class had a virtual lesson provided by Kris Light from the Museum of Science and Energy on forces. As a follow up the kids assembled marshmallow shooters, to observe forces when launching various objects of various masses. Learning is such a blast!

Deadline Extended for Families to Apply for COVID-19 Food Assistance

The Tennessee Department of Human Services announced financial assistance is available for families who qualify for free or reduced school lunches, through the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) program.
