Hawk Hustle 2022

The Woodland Hawk Hustle was held on Friday, April 29th. This is an annual event sponsored by our PTO to raise money for our school. Our students had a wonderful time walking and running around our track, completing as many laps as they could in a 15 minute block.

Kindergarten Pre-Registration May 2-6, 2022

During the week of May 2 – 6 2022, the Oak Ridge Schools will hold Kindergarten Pre-Registration from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Glenwood, Linden, Willow Brook, and Woodland elementary schools.  This will be the beginning of a two-part registration process that will be completed just prior to school entrance this summer.  If you have a […]

Woodland Hawk Bots Compete at State

This weekend our Woodland Hawk Bots Challenge Team competed in the East Tennessee State First Lego League™ Competition at Tennessee Tech University. During the competitions we are judged on our Robot, Coding, Innovation Project, as well as the FLL Core Values.

Oak Ridge Schools Included in Best for All Day

Today, the Tennessee Department of Education announced the 68 districts that have received statewide recognition as Best for All Districts for significantly investing federal COVID-19 stimulus funding to drive student achievement and improving academic outcomes. The department is celebrating these districts today for #BestforAllDay through a statewide livestream event from 9-10:30 a.m.
