Congrats, Class of 2024!

On Thursday, May 16th, Woodland Elementary had the honor of welcoming back our former Hawks from the Class of 2024.  Woodland Elementary staff, students, and some former staff were excited to welcome back the graduating class of 2024! There were many that we had not seen since they were 4th graders at Woodland.

Woodland Track

Woodland came in 2nd place in the Elementary Track Meet on Wednesday, May 15th. We are proud of these athletes for their effort, positive attitudes, and great sportsmanship! We had students finish in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in many events.

2024 Hawk Hustle

The Woodland Hawk Hustle was held on Friday, May 10th. This is an annual event sponsored by our PTO to raise money for our school. Our students had a blast walking and running around our track, completing as many laps as they could in a 15 minute block.

Spring Fling 2024

Woodland Elementary held its annual Spring Fling on Friday, April 5th. Despite the weather feeling more like winter than Spring, we had an amazing evening of food, fun, games, inflatables, a bounce house, a silent auction, and a chance to color bomb Principal Hobby.

Solar Spectacular STEM Night

On Thursday, November 16th, Woodland held our annual STEM Night. With a  “Solar Spectacular” theme it was an evening full of cosmic fun! Students and their families were able to participate in many space themed STEM activities, crafts, and explorations!

First Grade Election ’23

Woodland’s First Graders have just finished up our Election unit. In the past few weeks, we’ve read books with 3 different candidates: Duck, Grace, and Otto. Students were encouraged to discuss the character traits of each candidate and consider who would make the best president.
