This year Woodland has celebrated Veterans’ Day in several different ways: A Veteran’s Walk, a Performance by our 2nd grade classes, and Donuts with Grownups!
On Thursday, November 9th, Woodland students and staff gathered around our school track. Many students and staff carried pictures of Veteran family members as they walked around the track, while the rest of us cheered. This was our very first (and hopefully not our last) Veteran’s Walk. What a great way to celebrate those who have served our country!
Thursday afternoon, we were all treated to a performance honoring Veterans. Our 2nd graders did an amazing job!

On Friday morning, our PTO filled our gym with tables decorated for Veteran’s Day. We had so many Woodland families come in and join us for Donuts With Grownups.
