Ms. Olvey’s class held their tenth annual Pumpkin Party on Halloween! Important male role models were invited to spend time with their first grader in the classroom. These role models get to work together with their child and other students to separate the seeds from the strings, count the seeds in groups of ten, and count the seeds by tens to see how many in all! While the kids are working hard, the grown-ups are busy carving the pumpkins. We love having fun with our family at school!
