Woodland 2nd grade teachers would like to give our sincerest thanks to the Oak Ridge Schools Education Foundation for our new iPads. With these iPads, 2nd graders are using various apps to develop skills, conduct research, read online books, and work on coding. Students love working independently and using the iPads collaboratively in their learning.
Students are using websites like Nasa for Kids to conduct research, and apps such as Quiver Earth to add a 3-dimensional element to their learning.
Students are using the iPads collaboratively to program a path for Dash the Robot using the Wonder Workshop Path App.
Mrs. Howard and Mrs. Sharp were very excited to show off their new iPads with Dash & Dot robots at the Oak Ridge Public Schools Education Foundation Grant Awards Ceremony.
