Dear Oak Ridge Schools Families,

As I mentioned earlier, there was a possibility that the governor would extend the closure of schools in Tennessee. Just recently, we received word that Governor Lee has recommended school districts remain closed through April 24. We obviously will comply with this mandated closure.

Spelling & Geographic Bee Results

On Monday, January 13, Robertsville Middle School hosted its annual spelling bee. 80 students participated in the contest. After 17 rounds, 7th grader Zen Bennett correctly spelled the word assertion to win the bee. 7th grader Eurydice Delmau placed second. Zen qualifies for the regional bee to be held later this spring.

Christy Free Appointed Vice Principal at RMS

Mrs. Christy Free has been selected to serve as the Vice Principal of Robertsville Middle School beginning July 1, 2019.
