RMS Teacher Receives Civil Rights/Liberties Excellence in Teaching Award
John Spratling, a veteran teacher at Robertsville Middle School in Oak Ridge, received the Civil Rights/Liberties: Excellence in Teaching award during the Tennessee Council for the Social Studies virtual conference on Saturday, February 27th. 7th Grader Wins RMS Spelling Bee
Solomon Karisa, a 7th grader, recently won the 2021 Robertsville Middle School Spelling Bee. He correctly spelled the word
convulsive to win the competition. The runner-up was 5th grader Quentin Delmau. Solomon will represent RMS in the Knoxville News-Sentinel Regional Spelling Bee in March.

The Tennessee Department of Human Services announced financial assistance is available for families who qualify for free or reduced school lunches, through the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) program.
