Fifth Grade
The curriculum for the fifth grade includes a core curriculum of English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Reading, Science, and Social Studies. In addition to the core curriculum, students will be enrolled in Art, Keyboarding, Music, STEM and Career Exploration, and Physical Education as part of their rotation. Fifth grade students may elect to take Orchestra, Band, Art, or Core Intervention.
Clubs and activities are available to 5th graders.
Sixth Grade
The curriculum for the sixth grade includes a core curriculum of English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Reading, Science and Social Studies. In addition to the core curriculum, students will be enrolled in Art, STEM and Career Exploration, Music, Physical Education, and Keyboarding. Sixth grade students may elect to take Orchestra, Band, Chorus, or Core Intervention.
Clubs and activities are available to 6th graders. 6th graders may participate in cheerleading, volleyball, cross-country, basketball, and track and field.
Seventh Grade
The seventh grade core curriculum incorporates required courses in English/Language Arts, Science, Mathematics, and World Geography. Additional required classes include instructional courses in art, keyboarding, diversified technology, physical education, and teen living. Seventh graders may elect to take a combination of the following courses/activities (some variation between schools): Band, Chorus, Computer Technology and Coding, STEM and Career Exploration, French, Environmental Science, Core Intervention, Orchestra, Cultures, Spanish, and/or Teen Living.
Clubs and activities are available to 7th graders. 7th graders may participate in cheerleading, football, volleyball, cross-country, basketball, and track and field.
Eighth Grade
The eighth grade core curriculum incorporates required courses in American history, English/language arts, Mathematics, and Science. Additional required classes include instructional courses in computer technology, diversified technology, teen living, enrichment, and physical education. Eighth graders may elect to take a combination of the following courses/activities: Art, Band, Chorus, Computer Technology and Coding, STEM and Career Exploration, French, Journalism/Creative Writing, Orchestra, Spanish, Cultures, Core Intervention, and Teen Living.
Clubs and activities are available to 8th graders. 8th graders may participate in cheerleading, football, volleyball, cross-country, basketball, and track and field.
