Y12 Federal Credit Union has partnered with the Preschool to promote good financial choices for our students and families. Y12 FCU’s vision is to assist students and their parents with accurate financial counsel that will support their financial needs. Y12 FCU’s mission statement is to be a sound financial institution that is making a positive difference in our community. Children that learn how to identify good financial choices at an early age, develop good money skills throughout their lives. The three main concepts at this age are saving, spending, and sharing. Allowing repetition of these concepts through stories, arts and crafts, and interactive games are all avenues of learning. Our minor accounts continue this concept by benefiting children to save in their account, building up coins that are redeemable for prizes.
