In December, Linden Elementary 4th grade students worked together to help the families of Pi Beta Phi Elementary in Gatlinburg who suffered from the tragic fires. They rallied all students to come together to write cards and raise money – they also conducted a toy drive. After a benefit concert, in addition to classroom collections, the students raised $ 1,150.07 for the relief fund!
Money and cards were delivered the Monday before Christmas to Gatlinburg. ORNL Federal Credit Union joined the toy drive efforts and met Ms. Wade with a truck to help her transport all of the wonderful gifts. Way to go Linden Kids!
