The 2019 JMS Spelling Bee finally came to an end after 25 rounds!
Cayce Byrd and Kevin Young battled for the winning spot during the last four rounds.
In the end, Kevin became the winner by spelling the word “deliberately” correct on the last round.

The next JMS PTO meeting will be Tuesday, January 29 at 7:40am in the Eagles Nest. Everyone is welcome to come and learn about upcoming Spring projects and events. Refreshments will be served.

Qualifying students from each grade level have been announced.

The bee begins at 9:00 am in the Jefferson Performing Arts Center.
Winter Break will begin Monday December 24th continue through Monday Jan. 7th. Students will return to school on Tuesday Jan 8th.
