On Saturday, April 29^th, 2017 the Jefferson 7^th/ 8^th Grade Orchestra won 1^st Place at the kings Island Competition sponsored by Music Showcase Festivals. The following students won Solo Awards:

Hyosik Bang – Outstanding Violin

Colton McMahan – Outstanding Cello

Joey Kelley – Outstanding Bass

Jefferson Fifth and Sixth Grade Orchestras take all 1^st Places at the Dollywood Competition sponsored by Music Showcase Festivals on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Congratulations to the Jefferson Middle School Master Builders! They competed in the World Championship in Houston, Texas  on April 20th-22nd and won the 1st Place Robot Performance Trophy and the 2nd Place Programming Trophy.
