FINAL EXAM INFORMATION All classes are required to provide some type of assessment for final exams. The only makeup day for final exams is June 1st. Should students fail to take their exam, they will be given a zero. Please make sure your teens attend school on May 30th and 31st
We are excited to offer an expanded summer school this year to accommodate every student who may need to recover credit(s). Daily attendance is required for summer school.
This is the last week for the Class of 2023 to walk the halls of Oak Ridge High School. There are so many announcements for those families. GRADUATION SUPPLIES - PICK UP ASAP Students who did not pick up graduation supplies on Thursday, April 6, should see Mrs. Ledden in CS347 to pick up the supplies. Any student who does not have the cap & gown set required for graduation should see Mrs. Ledden ASAP.
Tickets to Prom 2023, Luminous Nights, will be on sale in the Arena Kiosk April 24th - 27th during 3rd period at the price of $40 for singles and $80 for couples. Tickets WILL NOT be sold Friday April 28th or Saturday April 29th. All tickets are NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE **If your date is not a current ORHS student you must complete a Guest Application form found in Ms. Eidam Dyer’s room, LC 313, Student Services, or at Ticket Sales. All forms must be completed and turned in with a copy of the guest’s ID to Student Services by April 26th.
TNREADY TESTING BEGINS TUESDAY- If a student is enrolled in the tested subject area for the day, the student will begin school and testing at 7:50 a.m. If a student is NOT enrolled in the tested subject (s) for that day, the student may arrive after testing concludes. All classes will meet on an abbreviated schedule each day following testing. Attendance to these classes is mandatory for all students. Students will test online this year using their school devices.
Badges - ID badges should be worn on a lanyard around the student's neck all day every day. Students who have lost their badge may purchase a badge in the Main Office for $10.00.

The state sponsored ACT for all juniors and the PreACT for all sophomores is Tuesday, April 4th. Seniors who have never taken the ACT are eligible to test with the juniors. As a reminder, the ACT is a graduation requirement for all students. Testing will begin at 7:50. Students need to arrive to school by 7:30. Testing locations will be posted throughout the building. Students are automatically signed up for the test, and there is no fee for testing. Students need to bring an ACT approved calculator, several No.2 pencils, and photo ID (badge can count).
