STUDENT INFO

Masquers is already gearing up for next year! Come learn more about Puffs, the Fall Play, The Addams Family, the Spring Musical, and other performance and technical opportunities.  Auditions for Puffs will take place the second week back to school on Monday, July 29th. Puffs is “A fast-paced romp through the ‘Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic.’ This clever and inventive play gives you a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of the Puffs. To help everyone get ready, we are having an interest meeting on Thursday, May 23rd after school in the auditorium. Encourage anybody and everybody interested in being a part of Masquers to attend! The informational portion will be from 3:15-3:45. Anyone interested in helping with props, costumes or set are encouraged to stay for a reading of the play. See you Thursday! (W-W 5/22) T. Lloyd

Are you interested in building, wiring, or programming a robot? Do you want to get involved in STEM outreach? Come by the iSchool G-building on Thursday, May 23 from 6 to 9pm, for the robotics team’s Open House. There will be food and robot demos. It’s idle-free week.  Did you know that in 2019 the Knoxville area was 25th worst city for air pollution in the United States? Our campaign is trying to let Oak Ridge know how cars pollute the air. One way you can help is to turn off your car when you’re not driving. (Th 5/16) L. Wilmoth

SENIOR INFO

Celebrate your high school graduation where it all began! Our elementary schools are eager to mark your accomplishment TODAY with a celebration at their school. Please wear your cap and gown for the celebrations.  Glenwood Cubs:  May 16 – 2pm  Celebration, 3pm – Clap Out and Pictures.  Willowbrook Bears – May 16 – arrive by 8:45am, graduation march begins at 9am.  Woodland Hawks – May 16 – arrive by 9:45am, – graduation walk begins at 10am.   (M,W,F 5/15) C.
