Homecoming Dance – The Homecoming Dance is this Saturday, October 21st from 6-9 at the DoubleTree Hotel.  Don’t forget to buy your Homecoming Tickets in the lobby during lunch this week.  No tickets will be sold at the door.  Tickets are $20. P. Taylor

 

All fall and senior photo retakes are TODAY, Wednesday in the auditorium from 8:00 until 1:30. Please have your picture taken if you have not already, even if it is just for the yearbook. You do not have to purchase. If you were unhappy with your fall picture, please also come and have it retaken for free. The senior group photo will be during 5th period in the Wildcat Arena.  R. Please return, renew, or remind your teacher to bring your class back to the library. All library books checked out before break area due back this week.  C. Milloway

Any current or next semester Accounting student planning to go on the field trip to UTK should return the permission slip to Mrs. Ledden in CS347 by Friday, October 20, at noon.  T. Ledden

 

AP EXAMS – It is that time of year again!  If you are currently enrolled in an AP course, we will be taking payments for AP exams during lunch in the lobby from October 30th-November 3rd.

This order window is only for students who currently have an AP class.  If you have an AP course that begins in January, you will pay for and order those exams during the Spring Semester.

  • This year AP exams are $98/exam. AP Seminar and Research exams are $145/exam.
  • If you are taking more than three exams, your fourth and subsequent exams will be $40/exam.
  • If you qualify for free or reduced lunch your exams are $15/exam.
  • Please make checks payable to Oak Ridge High School and put your name on the memo line of the check.

The University of Alabama’s Free App Week, is happening now!  During Free App Week, students will have until 11:59 p.m. CDT on Friday, October 20 to complete their application via the UA Undergraduate app. Applications submitted via the Common App will continue to require a $40 application fee during this week.
