The tradition continues! It’s time for the Senior Shirt Design Contest—the shirt that every senior gets to sign. Please submit your designs for the Class of 2024 Senior Shirt to Mrs. Ledden in Room CS347 by Thursday, September 21. You do not have to be a senior to submit designs for the shirt—open to all grade levels!
*We need a front shirt design and a back shirt design. Each of these designs is a separate “contest”. Prizes for each contest are as follows: Front – $25; Back – $25. (That’s $50 if you win both!)
*Be sure to incorporate ORHS, Seniors, and Class of 2024 into your drawings. Place your name and first period teacher’s name on the back of each design entry. Entries must be original work and if selected, will become the property of Oak Ridge High School. (Selection committee reserves the right to combine two or more designs in which case each person will receive prize money.) T. Ledden

Hola! Spanish Club Will be meeting on Monday September 11 in room LC304 immediately after school. If you like tostadas come learn how to make some! ¡Los esperamos! E. Franco
Sewing Club will meet TODAY, Thursday, as usual, in Ms. Hale’s room (CS328) until 4 pm. R. Hale
Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet on Friday at 7:10 AM at Providence House across the street from Wildcat Arena. The Bible message for Friday will come from guest speaker Maddie Cox from Young Life. As always, there will be donuts and biscuits provided, and all students and staff are welcome for breakfast and an encouraging message. T. Froning

SENIOR INFO
Three Mondays in September … Coach Froning will be hosting ACT Math review sessions in his classroom, CS 229. In the spirit of improving senior ACT Math scores for the senior free re-take when we come back from Fall Break on Tuesday, October 17th, Coach Froning will host review sessions geared towards students who scored between a 15 and the low 20s on their ACT Math on previous attempts. These review sessions will be held from 3:20 to 4:10.
*** Monday, Sept 11 in room CS 229, we will focus on AVID 12’s questions and most missed from the
2021-2022 ACT published Practice Test.
*** Monday, Sept 18, we will focus on ACT Geometry
*** Monday, Sept. 25, we will focus on ACT Number and Quantity problems including radicals,
exponents and matrices.
All seniors are welcome to join in the fun in room CS 229 from 3:20 to 4:10 Every Monday in September.
