Thursday Feb 3rd — Today is Day 4 of the RETHINK YOUR DRINK CHALLENGE— Did you know that drinking a 20 oz soda requires 30 minutes of jumping jacks to lose those calories. Drinking a 32 oz sports drink, such as Gatorade, takes your body 25 minutes of running to work those calories off?  So today instead of drinking sodas and sugary drinks, try drinking water.  (Th) – S. Any Business Academy student who will be a senior in 2022-2023 and is interested in the Business Academy Work-Based Learning (Co-op) Program, please see Mrs. Ledden in CS347. Past employers have included ORNL, ORNL Federal Credit Union, UCOR, medical offices, and others. Students who are hired will leave school after 4^th Period to report to work and will receive course credit and pay.  (2/3, 2/4, 2/16, 2/17) – T. Ledden

CLUB INFORMATION

Robert Schomer, Youth Pastor at Central Baptist church will be the speaker at Fellowship of Christian Athletes tomorrow at 7:10 AM at Providence House across the road from the Wildcat Arena parking lot.  All are welcome to start their Friday with a great Bible message, Chick-fil-a, donuts and friends. What is love? Philosophy Club won’t hurt you. Join us for a discussion on the many philosophical concepts of love in Mr. Pickering’s room (LC322) after school on Friday. (2/3-2/4) – A. Pickering

The ORHS Key Club will be having a meeting on Thursday, February 3 at 3:15 in Mr. Schoolcraft’s room LC224. We will be electing officers for the 2022-2023 school year and will be discussing our upcoming projects. (Tu, Th – 2.3) – J. Schoolcraft
