Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

Come support your boys basketball team at the state tournament in Murfreesboro next Wednesday, March 18.  The Wildcats will take on Houston High School at 2:45 (CST).  Game tickets are $10 each.   Need a ride?  Hop on the Wildcat Pep Bus, which leave from the Arena parking lot at _______________.  Come by the library to pick up a permission slip for the bus trip.  A signed permission slip, along with $5 to cover the cost for the bus and $10 for your ticket are due to the library by Friday afternoon at 3:10.  If we don’t get enough students signed up, we will have to cancel the trip and return student’s money after break, so get your friends to sign up with you!  (F) – C. The final Business Academy Co-op and/or Virtual Enterprise mandatory meeting will be held this afternoon in CS347 and will begin immediately after school and last approximately 45 minutes. See Mrs. Ledden if you have questions. (Th) – T. Ledden

Any student that wants to run for a class or student council officer position for the 2020-2021 school year can come by Mrs. Wagner’s room, LC 331, to pick up a petition. All petitions are due to Mrs. Wagner by Friday, March 13 at 3:06. No late petitions will be considered for candidacy. (F) – A. Wagner

If you are planning on getting your permit over the Spring Break you will need an SF 10-10 Form stating that you are in compliance.  Please go to the Attendance Office and fill out the request form. (M,Tu,Th,F) – C. Rhinehart

The 2020 Oak Ridge Blacks in Government Scholarship application is available for all graduating High School Seniors in Roane, Anderson, Blount, and Knox Counties. Scholarship awardees are selected based on their financial need and/or academic achievement.  Applications must be submitted by April 10, 2020.  The application can be picked up in the Counseling Office or found on the Counseling Office Scholarship, Testing and Career website.  (W-F 3.11-13) – A. Pacific Medical Training is conducting its 2020 ACLS Scholarship for Healthcare Providers to support studies, help a complete medical school, and get a head start on a career. Granting a $1,000 scholarship to the author of the winning essay, and complimentary access to any of our courses for three runner ups.
