Students-Please be aware that your tardy count WILL NOT start over for second semester. I repeat, tardies will not start over for second semester! Winter Formal is coming up soon and Snow Court applications are now available. Selections will be made based on contributions to the school and the Oak Ridge community. Applications can be found in Ms. Wagner’s room (LC331), and all are due by Wednesday, Jan. 15th! (W, F, M) A. Wagner
CLUB INFO
National Honor Society will meet immediately after school in LC327 on Monday, January 13. All NHS members, including those inducted at the end of last term, are required to attend in order to help schedule tutoring for the rest of the year. (M) – K. Senter
French Club will meet on Monday, January 13th in Madame Barry’s room CS 307 for a brief meeting! Merci! (M) – E. Barry
The ski club trip to Winterplace, WV this weekend has been cancelled. With 63 degree weather and little to no snow on the ground it is better swimming weather than skiing. If you’ve paid for this trip you have two options. 1. Apply the money to a different trip or 2. Fill out a refund form. See Ms. Sobek or Ms. Stevens for anything ski club related. (F) – D. Sobek
The Interact Club will meet Monday, January 13 immediately after school in the amphitheater. We will meet until 4pm. (M) – A. King
Start the New Year with new friends! Join the Gay Straight Trans Alliance after school this Monday for friendship and fun! We will be planning our tie dye day! Yummy snacks! (M) – B. Adler
Join Philosophy Club after school Friday in Mr. Pickering’s room (LC322) for a special guest. Dr. Alex Feldt, director of the University of Tennessee’s Ethics Bowl, will be joining us to review some additional cases. ATHLETICS THIS WEEK
