STUDENT INFO

Students –  Check your school email today for a survey from the Youth Advisory Board regarding a survey on how to make our community a better place for teens. Survey deadline is May 1 but don’t wait. Let your opinion count. (Tu) – T. Seals

PROM INFO

Tickets to Prom 2019, Living Behind the Mask will be on sale April 22nd -25th  during 5th period at the price of $40 for singles and $80 for couples. Tickets WILL NOT be sold Friday April 26th or Saturday April 27th.  All tickets are NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE.

If your date is not a current ORHS student you must complete a Guest Application form found in Student Affairs or with Ms. Eidam in LC 313.  All forms must be completed and turned in with a copy of the guest’s ID to Student Services by April 24th.

CLUB INFO

If you were invited to join La Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, you must pay the $15 dues by Tuesday, April 23 to Señora Ferguson in CS 301. Please remember to bring the exact change or a check made out to Oak Ridge High School. (4/22-/23) – L. Ferguson

Book Club meets this Friday, April 26 during 5 A/B in the library.  Come for lunch and interesting conversation! (4/23, 4/25, 4/26) – C. Milloway

SENIOR INFO

Attention Seniors! There is a paid summer internship at UT.  This runs from 8am-1pm for 4 weeks in June.  There you will learn about STEM teaching and get a chance to teach and learn under guidance of UT faculty members.  This is open to all graduating seniors who plan to enroll in a Community College next fall.  For more information, please contact Dr. Lynn Hodge at thodge4@utk.edu.

COUNSELING INFO

The deadline to register for the Saturday, June 8^th ACT is Friday, May 3^rd…less than two weeks away.

If you receive free/reduced lunch, you may be eligible for an ACT fee waiver to cover the cost of the test.
