STUDENT INFO
Students registered to take the AMC 10B or the AMC 12B exam on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 will need to report to LC-327 by 7:40 am. Please bring #2 pencils. You will be allowed to use protractors, rulers, graph, or scratch paper. No calculators, cell phones, or electronics will be allowed during testing. Your math teachers have the list of those students that have registered. Attendance will be taken. (2/8-2/12) – J. Zimprich
You know those adults who are always in your classroom? Yeah, that’s right, the teachers. You think you know them? You have no idea. You don’t really know a person until you know their favorite book. So, really get to know your teachers by scoping out their favorite books on display at the library. You can even check them out. Then you’ll have something else to say to your teachers other than “can I go to the bathroom?” (2/11) – C. Milloway

COUNSELING INFO
Applications are being accepted for the “Cottey College Summer Workshop” in Nevada, Missouri June 16-21, 2019. Participants will have FUN while learning how to succeed in today’s fast-paced world, and will experience college life prior to high school graduation.This scholarship pays 100% tuition, lodging, food as well as travel expenses up to $500 at the Cottey College program. If interested, please see your school counselor for the application. The deadline to turn in the application is February 15th (M) – K. Rowland.
The East Tennessee Foundation (ETF) is happy to announce that the ETF 2019 Scholarship Applications are available on their website, etf.org/scholarships. All ETF scholarship applications must be completed and submitted online. The application deadline for 2019 scholarships is February 15, 2019. (M – 2.15) A. Morris
The mini-College Fair has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 5th during 5th period lunch (11:30-12:30). Students of all grade levels and parents are welcome to meet with admissions counselors. It is not too early for even freshmen to be learning about college entrance requirements to make sure their four year schedules here are arranged to meet their post-secondary plans. (2/6-2/8) – K. Tennis team will hold practice today, Monday, February 11th in the cafeteria at 4:30pm. Both teams should attend. (2/11) – D. Bowman
