Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

Turn over a new leaf in November with free NHS tutoring from Maggie Dadmun and Hailee Ladd. Come to the Counseling Center from 3:15 to 3:50 on Thursday. (Th) – K. Senter

Junior Advisory Team will meet for lunch on Wednesday, October 31st.  Please bring your lunch.  Mrs. Thompson will bring dessert and drinks! (W) – S. Thompson

The Fall Play “Our Town” is 8 days away!  Do you have your tickets for this classic drama?  Shows are Nov 8-11:  Thursday at 7, Saturday at 7, and Sunday at 2.  Advance tickets are $6 and are available from a Masquer, Mr. Moreno’s class, or the Bookstore.  Don’t miss this high school tradition! Jostens will return to the Main Lobby tomorrow during lunch to collect orders for class rings. Any student at ORHS may order a class ring. $60 deposit required. Extra packets are available in CS347.(W) – T. Ledden

CLUB INFO

Spanish Club will meet on Wednesday during 5th period in Señora Golden’s room, CS 300. We will discuss upcoming events and meeting times.  Anyone interested can bring their lunch and meet with us!  ¡Hasta miércoles! (W) – J. Golden

Come to the Computer Science Club this Wednesday, Halloween, until 3pm to discuss and play spooky text adventures! We meet in Mr. Jackson’s room, LC227. All are welcome. (W) – K. Jackson

Seniors, Nov 1st is the absolute deadline for applying for the TNPromise scholarship.  Apply at www.tnpromise.gov       (Th) – B. Ottinger

Seniors, the counseling office has copies of the book A Capitalist Manifesto available for students who are applying for the Brad Sturm Memorial Scholarship.  Books are available on a first come first serve basis so see Ms. Morris ASAP for your copy if you are applying for this scholarship.
