STUDENT INFO

 

Please do not park on the yellow lined “field” on the food court/front of school parking lot. It is located on the side closest to the turnpike. This is the WildBand practice field on campus. Thanks!  – M. Hughey (Tu,Th)

 

Jostens will distribute class ring packets in the Main Lobby and Arena Concessions’ Kiosk during lunch on Wednesday, September 12. Any student, regardless of grade, may purchase a class ring. Orders will be taken September 19 and 26. A $60 deposit is required. (9/4  9/6  9/7  9/10) – T. Ledden

 

Prom Board- Would you like to help plan prom 2019?  Did you miss the interest meeting?  There is still time to turn in Prom Board petitions. Come see Ms. Eidam in LC 313 to find out about it and pick up a petition. (9/5-9.6) S. Eidam

 

The end of the grading term comes a week before Fall Break. Avoid grade whiplash by coming to free NHS tutoring today from 3:15 to 3:50 with Kelly Zhuang and Jourdan Cantrell. (9/6) – K. Senter

CLUB INFO

 

Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. (FBLA-PBL) is the largest career student business organization in the world. Each year, FBLA-PBL helps over 230,000 members prepare for careers in business. The ORHS chapter of FBLA will hold its first meeting of 2018-2019 on Tuesday morning, September 11, at 7:15 a.m. in CS345. Any student with an interest in business is welcome and encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served. Please see Ms. Stalliard or Ms. Ledden if you have questions about FBLA.  (9/4 & 9/6) –  T. SENIOR INFO

 

Seniors: mark your calendars—Wednesday, September 12! The senior signing party for the 2019 senior signature shirt will be immediately after the senior class picture on Wednesday, September 12, in the Arena. In addition, Jostens will be handing out your packets to order graduation supplies. The first two order dates for graduation supplies will be September 19 and September 26. So on Wednesday, September 12—senior class picture, sign the board for the senior shirt, and get your graduation supplies packet! (9/6  9/7  9/10) – T. Ledden

Vandy Fan for a Day provides high school students with information about the selective college admissions process, insight into Vanderbilt’s excellent scholarship programs, and an opportunity to enjoy the excitement of game day as the Vanderbilt Commodores take on the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday, November 17th. Are you a rising sophomore or junior that feel you would benefit from a chance to participate in the Vandy Fan for a day program? If so, please see Mrs. Morris in the Counseling Office so that your name can be added to the Nominations list by Friday, September 14th. (Tu, Th – 9.14) A. Morris
