STUDENT INFO
Students and Staff: we have AP World Language exams with speaking and listening portions that are being proctored here at ORHS. During these exams our bells will be turned off. We will have one exam this afternoon so please be aware that there will not be any bells. (5/8-5/15) – A. Roberts
Students taking the following DE courses next year for the Dual Enrollment credit: DE French 4, DE Spanish 4, DE Statistics, DE Pre-Calculus, and DE Geology should plan to stay after school ONE day for registration for Roane State AND the lottery grant to pay for the DE class. Those dates are either Monday, May 14th, Tuesday, May 15th or Thursday, May 17th at 3:15 in the Amphitheatre. You should plan to stay for at least one hour. If you are still undecided as to whether you will take the course for Dual Enrollment credit, Roane State request that you go ahead and register now as if you are taking it for DE credit but you are not obligated to do so. This week during lunch, the pair of graduating classes that donate the most money to yearbook secure their spot in Assembly A on Distribution Day May 18. This means that they will receive their yearbooks first and have more time to sign them that day! Will the freshmen and sophomores win and get their yearbooks before juniors and seniors? We hope not—but anything is possible!!! Find the yearbook staffers at the top of the cafeteria all week with collection jars. (5/7-5/11) R. Byrd

Seniors : If you still need to make up the citizenship test, please see Ms. Estep in her office after school on Thursday or at lunch on Friday. Be sure to bring your laptop. This test is required for graduation. (5/10-5/11) – B. Estep
Attention seniors! Graduation is coming up and we still have a few more fun things planned before we leave. The senior slideshow is coming up so dig through those old scrapbooks and baby boxes for all of those adorable elementary and middle school pictures. We would love to use group photos of you with your fellow classmates from sporting events, school parties, and more! Are you in need of volunteer hours? Join us at the Oak Ridge Schools – City of Oak Ridge Wellness Fair on May 16th at the Civic Center! The fair begins at noon and ends at 4:00pm. You can earn volunteer hours by helping vendors set up, working the registration desk, etc. You can start after school is dismissed on Wednesday, May 16th and work as long as you like!
