Seniors, you know what looks good on college applications?  Visiting with college reps when they come to your school.  We have representatives from a lot of excellent schools coming the Counseling Office this month!  Come by, ask questions and meet the reps.  The following are schools currently signed up to visit ORHS: (all visits are in the Counseling Office immediately after school, unless otherwise indicated.)  – O’Rourke

How would you like to save over $100 and by-pass the lines for all home athletic events?  You can purchase a Student Athletic Pass for just $55 and not have to wait in line at any football / soccer / volleyball / basketball / baseball or softball game for the 2024 – 25 school year. Passes will be on sale in the Main Lobby before school and during lunch.– T. Seals

 

Attention all Sophomores and Juniors:  The PSAT/NMSQT is an OPTIONAL test that will be offered to 10th and 11th graders on Tuesday, October 22nd at 7:50 a.m.  The test should end by 1:00 p.m. and the food court will be open at that time for students who take the test.  Online registration and fee payment will begin on Monday and run through September 10th.  The cost is $20 and no refunds are available if you do not take the test.  A limited number of exams are available so please sign up by the September 10th deadline.  Beginning on Monday you can click on the link on your class canvas page to register for the PSAT and pay your $20 fee. –     J. Attention artists! Student Council is seeking painters for our Book Spine Painting Contest and Scholarship. A $500 scholarship will be awarded to one talented painter of a book spine column in the CS300 hallway. All materials are provided to painters, and this is open to all grades. Applications are due today, August 30th, you can get more information on the Wildcat Canvas Hangout Page. – Wagner

 

Juniors and Seniors who are allowed to leave campus during the lunch period can join us tomorrow for “Walk Over Wednesday” lunches at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. The cost is $3.
