Student Writers! Please consider nominating a fellow student or yourself for Oak Ridge’s Youth Poet Laureate. The city’s Youth Poet Laureate serves as the entire city’s youth poet, which means that you may be asked to read one of your original works at events for the city and even graduation. This honor also looks really awesome on college applications! Nominations will be accepted through December 31. AP Exam Payments will be taken this week (October 30th-November 3rd) during lunch in the lobby.

This order window is only for students who currently have an AP class.  If you have an AP course that begins in January, you will pay for and order those exams during the Spring Semester. Please have your order form filled out ahead of time to expedite the payment process.

• This year AP exams are $98/exam. AP Seminar and Research exams are $146/exam.
• If you are taking more than three exams, your fourth and subsequent exams will be $40/exam.
• If you qualify for free or reduced lunch your exams are $15/exam.
• Please make checks payable to Oak Ridge High School and put your name on the memo line of the check.

Class Rings and Graduation Supplies: Jostens will return to take orders in the Main Lobby and the Arena Concessions’ Kiosk on Tuesday, November 14, during lunch only. Please turn in your order to the Jostens representative at either location during 3rd period lunch. Any student needing a class ring or graduation supplies packet should see Mrs. Ledden in CS347 or pick one up in the Main Office. $60 deposit required for both graduation supply orders and class ring orders.
