Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

 

STUDENT INFO

 

All fall and senior photo retakes are Wednesday in the auditorium from 8:00 until 1:30. Please have your picture taken if you have not already, even if it is just for the yearbook. You do not have to purchase. If you were unhappy with your fall picture, please also come and have it retaken for free. The senior group photo will be during 5th period in the Wildcat Arena.  R. Good morning Wildcats! Today, Soccer Mom & BBQ Dad kicks off our 2023 Homecoming Spirit Week! Student council will be giving away 10-dollar gift cards to the best dressed each day! Be sure to take a picture of your outfit and post it on your Instagram story tagging @orhs_stuco for a chance to win! We are so excited to see what you come up with! Let’s keep Spirit Week going tomorrow with decades day!  A. Wagner

 

Anyone in a band? Want to make some music and create some atmosphere at ORHS basketball games? If interested, see Coach Etheridge in CS326 ASAP.

 

AP EXAMS – It is that time of year again!  If you are currently enrolled in an AP course, we will be taking payments for AP exams during lunch in the lobby from October 30th-November 3rd.

This order window is only for students who currently have an AP class.  If you have an AP course that begins in January, you will pay for and order those exams during the Spring Semester.

  • This year AP exams are $98/exam. AP Seminar and Research exams are $145/exam.
  • If you are taking more than three exams, your fourth and subsequent exams will be $40/exam.
  • If you qualify for free or reduced lunch your exams are $15/exam.
  • Please make checks payable to Oak Ridge High School and put your name on the memo line of the check.

CLUB INFO

 

 

FBLA will meet after school in Mrs. Ledden’s room, CS347, on Wednesday, October 18, to plan for Trunk or Treat. Please bring $15 dues and/or your permission slip to participate in the organization if you have not done so already.  T. Ledden

 

SENIOR INFO

 

Senior Steering will be hosting the inaugural Senior Homecoming Cookout on Tuesday October 17th  after the ACT on the soccer field. We will have hamburgers, hotdogs, and veggie burgers along with chips and desserts.  B. Sparks
