STUDENT INFO

The deadline for accepting designs for the 2024 senior shirt have been extended to this Thursday, September 28. Please give your designs to Mrs. Ledden in CS347. Encourage your talented friends to submit designs so this senior class will have a great signature shirt like those before them.  T. Ledden

It’s never too early to start thinking about life after high school.  Please join us for the 42nd Annual College Fair, TONIGHT, Monday, September 25, 2023, in the arena from 5:30-7pm. Almost 90 colleges, universities, military and businesses will be in attendance.  We will also have the Taco Mafia food truck if you’d like to purchase dinner.A. King

Nominations for the Homecoming Court will be held Wednesday, September 27th on Skyward. Seniors will be able to nominate one boy and one girl from 8am-2pm. The winners will be announced at 3pm that same day. Homecoming Week is October 17th-20th following Fall break. A. Wagner

International Friends will be sponsoring a school-wide supply drive throughout the month of September to collect school supplies for students in the communities of El Progreso, Lima, and Santa Rita, Honduras.  Specific items needed in these communities are backpacks, kid-sized scissors, colored pencils, glue sticks, handheld pencil sharpeners, pencil boxes, and reusable water bottles.  You can drop off your donations with Mrs. Long (LC 335), Dr. Moulden (LC 333), Mrs. Golden (CS 300), or any International Friend club member.  J. CLUB INFO

Diversity Club meetings have changed to Wednesdays at lunch – come to the library classroom for lunch (pizza provided) this Wednesday, September 27 during your lunch period. Pick up a permission slip from the library before Wednesday – you must have it signed to come.  C. Milloway

COUNSELING INFO

It’s a fabulous week for College Rep visits here at ORHS!  TODAY a representative from Purdue will be in the Counseling Office immediately after school.  Tuesday Spring Hill College will have a table in the lobby during lunch.  Wednesday will feature the University of South Carolina in the lobby during lunch AND we will have the University of Chicago in the Counseling Office immediately after school!  Stay tuned (or check out the big calendar outside the Counseling Office ) for more visit announcements!  A.
