Several ACT test dates are just around the corner. Anyone looking to get extra help preparing for the test can sign up for the ACT Boot Camp, which will be held the first four days of Fall Break. Sessions will be from 8-11 a.m. on Monday Oct. 2 through Thursday Oct. 5. Each day will focus on a different section of the test. Tips and strategies will be discussed, and students will have a chance to take a practice test and have specific questions answered. This opportunity is free, but transportation will not be provided. A link to the sign-up form will be posted on each class Canvas page, and it will also be sent out in Skyward. Please sign up by Tuesday, Sept. 26. If you have any questions, see Mr. Stebbins in CS339 or Ms. Estep.  B. Stebbins

From Principal Hawkins:  Central Baptist has emailed about our students’ misuse of their parking lot.  There is trash being dumped and students speeding through the parking lot, which presents a safety hazard.  They are also concerned with the number of students entering the wooded area behind their facility and the Highland View church during lunch and after school.

Central Baptist has a long-standing relationship with ORHS and allows our students and staff to park on their campus.  If their property continues to be disrespected by our students, they will no longer allow students and staff to park there.  We are responsible for being good neighbors and taking care of their property as if it were our own.  Please do not cause our school to have this privilege taken away.  D. Hawkins
