Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

From Principal Hawkins:  Central Baptist has emailed about our students’ misuse of their parking lot.  There is trash being dumped and students speeding through the parking lot, which presents a safety hazard.  They are also concerned with the number of students entering the wooded area behind their facility and the Highland View church during lunch and after school.

Central Baptist has a long-standing relationship with ORHS and allows our students and staff to park on their campus.  If their property continues to be disrespected by our students, they will no longer allow students and staff to park there.  We are responsible for being good neighbors and taking care of their property as if it were our own.  Please do not cause our school to have this privilege taken away. (M,W,F 9/22) D. Hawkins

International Friends will be sponsoring a school-wide supply drive throughout the month of September to collect school supplies for students in the communities of El Progreso, Lima, and Santa Rita, Honduras.  Specific items needed in these communities are backpacks, kid-sized scissors, colored pencils, glue sticks, handheld pencil sharpeners, pencil boxes, and reusable water bottles.  You can drop off your donations with Mrs. Long (LC 335), Dr. Moulden (LC 333), Mrs. Golden (CS 300), or any International Friend club member.
