Students who have expressed interest in learning to cook, we have our first official cooking class with Aramark Chef Eric available for you on Friday, May 5 from 3:15 – 5:15 in our own cafeteria.

Elections- Student Council Officer and Class Officer Candidates are campaigning this week for your votes! Please visit the Wildcat Canvas Hangout Page to get info about the candidates. Voting will take place on Skyward on April 14th from 8am-2pm. Class Officers are voted on by their grade band and Student Council officers are voted on by all students in the freshmen, sophomore, and junior class. Powderpuff- Calling all Powderpuff participants! Sign-ups for this exciting game are open and available on Mrs. Wagner’s door LC311 for both girls as players and boys as cheerleaders. Tickets to Prom 2023, Luminous Nights, will be on Pre-Order TODAY, April 12th – 14th in the Arena Kiosk during 3rd period at the pre-order cost of $30 for singles and $60 for couples. Tickets will also be on sale April 24th – 27th during 3rd period at the price of $40 for singles and $80 for couples. Tickets WILL NOT be sold Friday April 28th or Saturday April 29th. All tickets are NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE
**If your date is not a current ORHS student you must complete a Guest Application form found in Ms. Eidam Dyer’s room, LC 313, Student Services, or at Ticket Sales. All forms must be completed and turned in with a copy of the guest’s ID to Student Services by April 26th.

The ORHS Environmental Club is hosting a booth at the Jackson Square Farmers Market on Earth Day, Saturday April 22. The club needs quality clothing donations and volunteers to sew repurposed tote bags. If you have clothing to donate or like to sew, please help by joining us! Donations can be dropped off in LC107. Seniors: Dress up as your favorite book character or author and join us on Wednesday, April 19th at 2:15 in the lower food court. Refreshments will be served, entertainment provided, cash door prizes will be given out at various times until ending at 3:30, and gift cards will be given out to winners of best costumes and originality. The ORHS English Department is offering a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior who plans to attend a two- or four-year college or university. This year, essays will be composed and submitted in- person on April 12, after school from 2:15-3:15 in CS 319. To register, see Mr. Feuer in CS 319 for an application form. All responses will be anonymously reviewed, and a winner chosen by a committee of teachers across multiple subjects. M. Feuer
