Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

The library has checked out 5,593 books this year, yahoo! 405 of them are currently overdue. Please return or renew all library books ASAP, and pick up something new to read. Everything checked out this week is due AFTER spring break. C. Milloway

The ORHS Key Club is doing a diaper drive for TORCH, a local nonprofit that works with homeless individuals. If you would like to donate an unopened pack or box of diapers, please see Mr. Schoolcraft in LC224.  J. Schoolcraft

SENIOR INFO

Senior girls – the deadline to submit the application for the PEO Star Scholarship is this Friday!  If you need the application, stop by the Counseling Office. A. O’Rourke

Seniors: The time has come to select speakers for the ORHS Class of 2023 Graduation and Convocation ceremonies.  Tryouts will be virtual this year. For specific information about how to audition, please visit the Class of 2023 Canvas page and find the announcement regarding tryouts. The deadline to upload a submission is April 7 at 3:00 p.m. G. COUNSELING INFO

Admit it, you’re already thinking about summer!  The Counseling Office Scholarship Page has great summer and pre-college opportunities listed.  For instance, do you want to learn about AI with instructors from Stanford, MIT and Carnegie Mellon University– even if you do not have any coding experience?  There is a link to this AI camp with a scholarship application on our website.  This camp is open to all high school students and the scholarship application deadline is March 15th.  Check the Counseling Office Scholarship page for this and other opportunities to make the most of your summer!  A. It’s not too late to get your Student Athletic Pass – the price is now $45.  This will get you in to any home regular season event for Basketball and all Spring sports.   Get your SAP ASAP in the Main Office.
