For any students who are interested in being on this year’s Snow Court for the Winter Formal, applications are due today! Turn in forms to Mrs. Wagner in LC31. Our Snow Court will be announced tomorrow! For more information see Mrs. Wagner or ask a student council member. The Snow Prince and Princess who raise the most money for Second Harvest will be crowned Snow King and Queen at the Winter Formal on February 4th. A. Wagner
Freshmen – Thursday night is YOUR night to get in free to the Freshmen basketball game here @ ORHS. The Maryville Red Devils will be here as the girls’ game begins @ 6:00 with the boys game immediately following. Come and support your class of 2026 teammates. See you there! T. Seals
Have you ever wanted to work on your acting skills? Everyone is welcome to come join Masquers on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 4:30-6 for Improv! Their new Improv Coach, Rollin, will have you rolling. Also, on Wednesdays from 2-4, Director, Amy Uptgraft, will lead students in an Acting Workshop. You don’t have to attend every Wednesday. Come to one workshop or all of them. They will be casting Atomic Acts on March 8th, so come to a workshop or improv in the auditorium and let them know if you want to Act Up with Masquers! Last but not least, Masquers is gearing up for their Spring performances so mark your calendar for: Cheap Date Night Improv Show on February 15th; The Lightning Thief: A Percy Jackson Musical on March 3rd, 4th & 5th; and Atomic Acts on April 22nd! Want to save THREE lives?? Donate blood! Medic will be here January 27 from 8am – 2pm. You must sign up with Mrs. Minarik. Students, if you are 16 you can donate, with parental permission (get forms from Mrs. Pointer or Mrs. Minarik). Students 17 and 18 years old do not need parents’ permission.
