STUDENT INFO

For the first time ever, Student Council will be hosting a winter spirit week. The dates are this week, Monday December 5th through Friday December 9th. This spirit week will be very similar to the spirit week during homecoming in September with themes for each day specified below.  All students and staff are encouraged to participate in the themes for each day!

Themes:

• Friday (Dec. 9th) – Holiday Character Day

Senior Class is selling candy canes this week. Mini ones are $1, Regular for $2 dollars and fruit flavored ones for $3. They will be delivered to recipients during their fifth block class on Friday.  B. Sparks

La Vela candle business is selling 8oz scented candles for $10. Look for pre-order forms at information centers and in front of the library. Order deadline is TODAY! K. Hutson

TODAY is the last day to purchase products from Wildcat Central, so be sure to stop by and purchase a new water bottle, lanyard, sweatshirt, or t-shirt! . Limited number of t-shirts are on sale for $10 and ALL Water Bottles are Buy One get One FREE! $10 for Two Water Bottles. Wildcat Central is located at the Café in the cafeteria during 3a lunch and 3b lunch and after school! Don’t miss your chance to get your Wildcat Gear!  T. Lloyd

CLUB INFO

Join Philosophy Club after school in Mr. Pickering’s room (LC322) TODAY, Friday, for a discussion on relationships. This will be our final meeting of the fall semester. (Th,F) A. Pickering

Seniors will receive a survey via Skyward the week of December 5-9 to vote for Senior Superlatives for the yearbook. The survey will open Monday at the start of school and will close Friday at 3:07.  R. Hale

Seniors, does your family need help with the FAFSA but they were unable to attend the ORHS FAFSA Help Night? There will now be live 2023-24 FAFSA walkthroughs every Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. EST through December 12. Check your school email or your Canvas Announcements for links and details.  B. Ottinger

ATHLETIC EVENTS THIS WEEK

It’s not too late to get your Student Athletic Pass – the price is now $45.  This will get you in to any home regular season event for Basketball and all Spring sports.   Get your SAP ASAP in the Main Office
