STUDENT INFO

Yearbooks will be on sale on Cyber Monday for $65 from 12:01am on Monday morning until midnight Monday night! This is our last sale at $65. Buy online at yearbookordercenter.com on November 28 for this last low sale price!  R. Hale

Spirit OR wants to put some spirit into the OR gear!  We are selling various products for the season coming just around the corner. For hoodies, t-shirts, stickers, and keychains, look at the bulletin boards to find our website. You can also find a link to purchase in the parent newsletter, as well as the flyer in many of the classrooms. On sale now through December 2nd. T. Lloyd

CLUB INFO

Sign-ups for the ORHS Ski and Snowboarding Club’s 2023 season are underway! We will be skiing at Ober Gatlinburg on Wednesday afternoons beginning January 11th. All forms and information can be found on the bulletin board near LC217. Forms need to be returned to Mrs. Longmire in LC217 or Ms. Strating in LC106 by Tuesday, November 28th. Seats are limited to 40 students and available on a first come first served basis, so stop by to pick up your forms today!  K. Longmire

SENIOR INFO

Seniors: the final deadline to place an on-time order for graduation supplies is Friday, December 9. After December 9, prices will DOUBLE! Jostens will be in the Main Lobby during lunch only on Thursday, December 8, to collect your orders in person. No deposit required if all you order is the cap/gown/tassel set; otherwise, $60 deposit is required. Place online orders (payment required when order is placed) at https://www.jostens.com/ until the end of the day on December 9. See Mrs. Ledden in CS347 if you have questions.  T. Ledden

COUNSELING INFO

Seniors – over the break check out the Counseling Office Scholarship page and get started on those applications!  There are many different scholarships available, for example:

**The East Tennessee Foundation offers several scholarships that are available specifically to students in Oak Ridge and Anderson County.  These are amazing opportunities that seniors should check out!  The list of scholarships for ORHS students is posted outside the Counseling Office and on the Scholarships Website.

**The Dream Scholarships are for highly motivated undocumented students who want nothing more than to get a college education but are unable to afford the cost.

**Chick-Fil-A Scholarships – Every year, twelve (12) $25,000 scholarships will be awarded to students based on academic success, community service and financial need  A. O’Rourke

ATHLETIC EVENTS THIS WEEK

It’s not too late to get your Student Athletic Pass – the price is now $45.  This will get you in to any home regular season event for Basketball and all Spring sports.   Get your SAP ASAP in the Main Office
