STUDENT INFO
Need a gift for someone special? Or maybe for yourself? Come by the library and pick up one, or more, free books! And while you are at it, return the library books you’ve finished reading or renew what you want to hang onto.
Do you have your badge? If you don’t, you need to find it or purchase your replacement ASAP. Just bring your $10 to the main office to buy your new one. Badge checks will start right after Fall Break and consequences will be handed out if you don’t have one. Also, starting after Fall Break you will need your badge to get into the OR room if you’ve been assigned to be there. If you don’t have a badge you won’t be allowed in and will be written up for skipping. Go find or buy your replacement badge today!
Any student registered for Accounting next semester: if you are interested in attending the TSCPA’s Discover Accounting program at UTK on November 11, please let Mrs. Ledden know by the end of lunch TODAY, Thursday, September 29. This will be an all-day field trip.
Last chance to Join Prom Board! Pick up petitions in LC 313, Ms. Eidam Dyer’s room. Prom Board is open to all students Freshmen-Seniors. Petitions must be turned in by the end of TODAY, Sept. 29th.

The speaker at Fellowship of Christian Athletes this week will be Randi Nussbaum, Youth Pastor at Farragut Christian Church and Mom to our very own Keegan Nussbaum! FCA meets every Friday at 7:10 AM at Providence House across the street from the Wildcat Arena parking lot. All are welcome for a Bible message, chicken biscuits and donuts.
Philosophy Club will not meet this Friday. Have a reflective fall break!
Come see our Masquers Improv Teams perform this Saturday, October 1st at The Secret City Improv Festival! It will take place at the Historic Grove Theatre. More information is available on the Masquers Office door or on the masquers website – orhsmasquers.my.canva.site.

It’s another big week for college visits! TODAY, Thursday, the 29th we have a lunch time virtual visit with John Cabot University and after school a rep from the University of South Florida will be in the Counseling Office. And before you head out for Fall Break on Friday, stop by the Counseling Office after school to talk with the rep from the University of Alabama.

If you need help with Naviance or your college applications, you are invited to attend one of our help sessions. The help sessions will all take place in the ORHS Amphitheater. Please come to the Amphitheater to see a Counselor this September 29th at 7:15am or 3:15pm.
All sessions are 30 minutes long.
