STUDENT INFO

Get excited! Homecoming week is next week! Each day there will be dress-up days, a window painting competition on Wednesday after school, a pep rally on Friday, and voting for the homecoming king and queen Friday. Wow, that’s a lot of fun! Did you see the lines at the ticket booth on Friday night?   Don’t get caught in line this week and save over $100 by purchasing a Student Athletic Pass.  For $55 you can have a front row seat for all regular season home athletic events.  Athletic passes will be on sale Monday – Thursday this week in the Main Office.

If you are attending the leadership summit TODAY, report to the Wildcat Arena for 1st period.

The tradition continues! It’s time for the Senior Shirt Design Contest—the shirt that every senior gets to sign. Please submit your designs for the Class of 2023 Senior Shirt to Mrs. Ledden in Room CS347 by Thursday, September 22. You do not have to be a senior to submit designs for the shirt – the contest is open to all grade levels.  We need a front of shirt design and a back of shirt design.  Each of these designs is a separate contest with its own $25 prize – $50 if you win both!  Be sure to incorporate ORHS, Seniors, and Class of 2023 into your drawings.  Place your name and first period teacher’s name on the back of each design entry.  Entries must be original work, and if selected will become the property of Oak Ridge High School. (Selection committee reserves the right to combine two or more designs in which case each person will receive prize money.

CLUB INFO

Hallo und Guten Tag! The German Club is meeting this Friday right after school in Room CS301! Everybody is welcome! We are still working on the OKTOBERFEST!

Bonjour! French Club will meet right after school this Thursday, September 8th in Madame Pryfogle’s room CS 304. We will continue our posters for Cats for Cats! Bring a snack to share! Merci!

PSAT Registration

Attention all Sophomores and Juniors:  The PSAT/NMSQT® is an OPTIONAL test that will be offered to 10th and 11th graders on Tuesday, October 25th.

• Online registration and fee payment will begin this Thursday the 25th and run

through Thursday, September 8^th.

• The cost is $18 and no refunds are available if you do not take the test.
• A limited number of exams are available, so be sure to sign up soon.
• Once registration closes, there will be an announcement made for you to pick up

your PSAT Student Guide in the counseling office.
