Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

Students – Parking on campus is a privilege that requires an ORHS car tag to be displayed from rearview mirror.  Car tags are free, but you must request a tag from Student Services.  Cars without tags are subject to be asked to move.  Students are also reminded to not park in areas that are zoned off for construction.  Students are asked to place all garbage items in the trash cans located in the parking lots. Thank you for keeping our campus clean.  (M,W,F 8/26 thru 9/2)

CLUB INFO

Model UN will meet TODAY from 3:15 to 4 in LC317. We will discuss officer elections, Model UN basics, and start looking at potential competitions. (M) R. Shaffer

Hallo und Guten Tag! TODAY after school we will have our next German Club! Everybody is welcome! We will talk about Oktoberfest! Oktoberfest? It is not even September!! Yes! Oktoberfest…. Since there is sooo much to talk about!  We will meet right after school at 3:15 in room CS 301 … also known as the German Classroom. (F,M) S. Nebenfuehr

Youth for Christ is back.  Come spend time with people interested in discussing the claims of Christ in LC 215 TODAY from 3:15 to 4:00.  We will be meeting every Monday from now on. (M 29) V. Moreno

If you are a current or spring semester student in Early Childhood Education, we invite you to join our club, FCCLA. Please bring your $14 to Mrs. Sparks in room CS 250 by August 31. Then join us August 31 for the new member breakfast. (8/25,29) – B. Sparks

SENIOR INFO

Senior Seminar for Parents will now be on Tuesday, August 30th from 6-7 p.m. in the ORHS Amphitheater. If senior parents are unable to attend, all information will also be emailed. COUNSELING INFO

The counseling department is hosting a new to Oak Ridge High School student lunch on August 31, 2022, during 3a and 3b lunch in LC326.  If you have recently transferred to ORHS and would like to join us, please RSPV to the counseling office by August 30.  (8/23.25.29) A. King

PSAT Registration

Attention all Sophomores and Juniors:  The PSAT/NMSQT® is an OPTIONAL test that will be offered to 10th and 11th graders on Tuesday, October 25th.

• Online registration and fee payment will begin this Thursday the 25th and run

through Thursday, September 8^th.

• The cost is $18, and no refunds are available if you do not take the test.
• A limited number of exams are available, so be sure to sign up soon.
• Once registration closes, there will be an announcement made for you to pick up

your PSAT Student Guide in the counseling office.
