Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

TODAY is  a Freshman/Junior day  in OR  and Tuesday will be a Sophomore/Senior day.  The days will continue to alternate with those groups going forward.  Make sure you know if you have OR by checking your emails and by listening to your 2nd and 4th period teachers.  Also, if you have a credit bearing class anytime during 3rd block you should attend that class and go to OR for the rest of the period.  These class include Tier classes and any other class for which you receive a grade but does not include the walking class.  If you are assigned to both Lunch Detention and OR on the same day, Lunch Detention takes priority.  And remember, if you just turn in your assignments on time this will NEVER apply to you.  (Admin) –  M

UPPERCLASSMEN: Do you want to personalize your parking spot?  Please bring your application, design, and payment to the Cheerleading Coaches on Tuesday and Thursday 3:45 pm-7:00 pm at the Wildcat Arena! If your design is approved, you’ll be able to paint your spot on the following painting days.    Seniors – Sunday, September 4        Juniors –  Sunday, September 18  (M,W,F) R.Monday

FBLA—Future Business Leaders of America—the first organizational meeting for the 22-23 school year is after school tomorrow in CS347. Refreshments will be served. (M) – T. Ledden

Do you typically scoff when Jeopardy contestants get the wrong answer?  Wish History and English class was less analysis, more memorizing random facts?  Then come to the first meeting of QUIZ BOWL, the premier academic trivia club at ORHS, Thursday, August 25 after school in Mr. Jarnigan’s room, LC321.  Come for the pizza 🍕, stay for the buzzing. Senior Seminar for Parents will now be on Tuesday, August 30th from 6-7 p.m. in the ORHS Amphitheater. If senior parents are unable to attend, all information will also be emailed.
