OR is back! Teachers will be able to begin entering your missing assignments today. As soon as an assignment is entered you will be notified by email and your parents will be notified by text message. You will be expected to be at the next available OR session for your grade. OR will meet in the Amphitheatre for the full lunch period. The first day of OR will be Monday and it will be a Junior/Senior day. Tuesday will be a Freshman/Sophomore day. The days will alternate throughout the remainder of the school year. Remember, if you complete your assignments on time this will NEVER apply to you! (W) – D. Kolodney
Do you need a locker? An email was sent to all students August 2nd with a link to sign up for a locker. In order to sign up, you will need to know the locker number and the hallway to complete the form. (F) – Admin
Outside food – Students are not allowed to have outside food delivered or bring outside food back into the building upon returning from open campus. However, drinks are permitted. (F) – Admin
Calling all sports fans. WILDCAT PRIDE, the official unofficially best student section in Tennessee high school sports, is ready to meet and discuss plans for the upcoming fall sports season. Our first meeting will be this Friday at 7:13 am in Mr. Jarnigan’s room, LC 321. If it isn’t raining and his kids don’t melt down, he will bring donuts. All are welcome to attend. – (Tu-Th) – P. Anyone interested in joining the high school swim team needs to attend one of the two following meetings in Coach Hodge’s room LC 114:bbWednesday, Aug. 3rd from 7:25-7:45 am or Friday, Aug. 5th during 3B lunch (yes, you may eat in my room) (Tu) – C. Hodge
The ORHS Student Council will have an informational meeting for juniors and seniors on TODAY August 2nd during 3A lunch. If you are interested in joining a great group of motivated students promoting positive changes and student advocacy in the school, please come join us in LC311. Students who drive to school will need to have a 2022-23 car tag. Last year’s tags will not work. Please come by Student Services and pick up the application to get your free parking tag by Wednesday August 10. (M,W,F) – V.Viruet
Masquers invites all actors, singers, musicians and dancers to attend an interested meeting TODAY August 3rd right after school with the Music Director of the Fall Showcase and Spring Musical “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical”. Come to this meeting if you are interested in singing, dancing, or playing music in the Showcase or the Musical. (W) – T. Lloyd
