There will be one more girls soccer interest meeting for the summer/fall 2022 season –Friday May 13 for those that are planning to try out/play on the ORHS girls soccer team. This meeting is for current students enrolled at ORHS. The meeting will begin at 3:45 pm at the Food Court upper level. Parents are encouraged to attend if possible. Coach Green will be there to answer any questions and will have information/paperwork for the tryouts and upcoming season. This summer, ORNL is excited to host SAGE (Science Accelerating Girls’ Engagement) Summer Camp, a weeklong program for rising 10th-12th grade girls to explore STEM possibilities for their futures. It will be held at AMSE June 13-17. Please share this opportunity with high school STEM teachers and students. More information and link to the application can be found at stem.ornl.gov/SAGE. SENIORS LISTEN UP! This announcement is worth about $10,000. Are you planning to use the TnPromise Scholarship?? If so, Mrs. Thompson has sent all eligible seniors an email to provide you an update regarding your community service hours. It is important all seniors using the TNPromise read the email sent to you on Monday. Failure to complete 8 hours of community service by July 1, 2022 will permanently forfeit your TnPromise eligibility.
