Do you want an opportunity to win a cash award and investigate the Scarboro 85 during Black History month? The local chapter of the NAACP is sponsoring a Black History Month Trivia Contest. All students signed up to take the AP U. S. History Exam from the fall and spring block classes and the year-long class should plan on attending our review sessions at 9:00am-11:00am each Saturday morning from April 9th through April 30th. Special review materials and a mock exam will be available at these sessions that begin shortly after Spring Break. (3/8-3/9) – K. Senter

Seniors: The time has come to select speakers for the ORHS Class of 2022 Graduation and Convocation ceremonies. Tryouts will be virtual this year. CLUB INFORMATION
Soup club (students of undergraduate physics), the newest, hippest, most delicious club in school, warmly welcomes interested physics and stem students to join them in their weekly potluck of knowledge in Ms. Hondorfs’ room Tuesdays at lunch, where they will study physics with a focus on the upcoming AP exams. Carbon Monoxide
- Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a gas you cannot see, taste, or smell. It is often called “the
invisible killer”. It is created when fossil fuels such as kerosene, gasoline, coal, natural
gas, propane, methane, or wood don’t burn completely. CO gas kill people and pets.
- Headaches, nausea, and drowsiness are symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Exposure can be fatal.
- CO alarms shall be installed outside each sleeping area and on every level of the home.
Follow manufacturer’s instructions for placement and mounting height.
* Test CO detectors monthly and replace if they fail to respond.
* If CO alarm sounds, immediately exit per your home escape plan and call 911. Do not go back until fire department personnel declares it is safe to re-enter the home
