The Spring Musical “Into the Woods” starts this Friday! Do you have your tickets for this classic story? Shows are this Friday at 7, Saturday at 2 and 7, and Sunday at 2. You are running out of time to buy Advance tickets. Today is the Last day to buy Advance tickets. Advance tickets are $8 and are available from a Masquer, Mr. Moreno’s class, or the Bookstore. Tickets will be sold at the door but will be $1 more. Don’t miss the biggest show in Masquer History! (W) – V. Moreno
Do you want an opportunity to win a cash award and investigate the Scarboro 85 during Black History month? The local chapter of the NAACP is sponsoring a Black History Month Trivia Contest. Mrs. Thompson has sent contest information to your school email. Submissions will be due to the Counseling Office by March 11th. Ms. Thompson
Anyone that took AP Macro and AP Microeconomic in the fall and would like to participate in the National Economic Challenge needs to visit Mrs. Bauman. You can have 4 people on a team and will be in the Adam Smith Division. The home page is https://econchallenge.unl.edu/Tennessee. Let me know if you are interested and I will register your team and give you materials to study. Remember to use your Strive for 5 books to review for the AP exam too. Seniors: The time has come to select speakers for the ORHS Class of 2022 Graduation and Convocation ceremonies. Tryouts will be virtual this year. For specific information about how to audition, please visit the Class of 2022 Canvas page and find the announcement regarding tryouts. The deadline to upload a submission is April 1 at 3:00 p.m. -G. CLUB INFORMATION
Our new club will meet again on Thursday, March 10th at 3: 15 in Mrs. Bauman’s room, LC318. We will learn about current political information from the League of Women Voters and determine what issues we would like to be involved in this year.
