Oak Ridge High School Daily Bulletin

STUDENT INFO

FUMC will be  having school lunch this Thursday and next for those students who wish to come.  We will have it ready to go for you all at 11A to work around testing schedule. (12/2, 12/9) – T. Seals

Registration for the City of Oak Ridge Recreation and Parks Department’s teen basketball and adult (14+) volleyball league is now open.  Registration closes on December 11^th.  Games are tentatively scheduled to begin January 4^th for volleyball and January 8^th for basketball.  (T, Th) – 11/29-12/9) – S. Attention Sophomores or Juniors interested in attending Governor’s School for the Arts 2022:

The TN Governor’s School for the Arts will be held June 4th, 2022 – June 25th, 2022 at Middle TN State University

IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES FOR ORHS STUDENTS

Governor’s School – Summer 2022  (These dates are different than Governor’s School for the Arts)

Any Sophomore of Junior interested in attending Governor’s School during the Summer 2022, please see the attached list of Governor’s Schools offered by the state.  You must adhere to the deadlines set by ORHS when applying. ORHS has different deadlines than the actual Governor’s School. Governor’s School is organized by the State and the individual colleges so please refer to this website for details about the various schools and their prerequisites: https://www.tn.gov/education/instruction/tdoe-governors-schools.html

Seniors: the final deadline to place an on-time order for graduation supplies is Friday, December 10. After December 10, prices will increase (DOUBLE)!!! Jostens will be in the Main Lobby during lunch on this date to collect your orders in person. $60 deposit is required unless your total is less.
